Multiple users have reported hitting this issue, all airing their frustrations on forums and comments sections as Activision hasn’t yet managed to permanently identity and fix the issue.

Many say that the issue has to do with Regiments, which essentially are the game’s version of clans. But don’t fret: There are a few methods that can help you get passed the error and have you dropping back into the action in no time.

How to Fix Memory Error 13-71: Option 1

The above video from Gaming Gameplay details one of the ways in which you can potentially bypass the error, which includes using a second account. A simple outline of the method goes like so:

Create a new account with a different email address. Load up Call of Duty Warzone while logged into this new account. Proceed to the multiplayer menu (the error message shouldn’t appear). Once in, switch accounts on your console to the one you wish to play with. Now, leave the regiment that you’re associated with.

You should now be ready good to go. It’s also worthwhile enabling the option to block regiment invites to be safe. Hopefully, this works, but if the issue is still affecting you, there are a few other methods that might work.

How to Fix Memory Error 13-71: Option 2

This option is similar to the first one and ensures that you leave your regiment, albeit through different means.

Load up Call of Duty Warzone. Proceed until you receive the error message. Accept the error message. Once accepted, the game will attempt to put you online At this point, cancel it. Two options appear: Retry or Go Offline. Press Go Offline. Go to the account option and disable cross-play. Boot up Call of Duty Warzone again. When it asks you to enable cross-play, ignore it. Go to the regiments tab. Leave your regiment. Disable invites again. Now allow cross-play and Call of Duty Warzone should now be working.

If this still isn’t working for you, there’s one last option that isn’t ideal, but some users have reported that it has rectified the issue.

How to Fix Memory Error 13-71: Option 3

This option is simply deleting the game off your system and redownloading the whole game again. It’s a hefty task, with a file size larger than most games, but users have tried this as a last resort and reported that it’s fixed the problem.

While it’s not an immediate fix, it’s always a good idea to report the issue to Activision in the hopes for a patch or fix within the coming weeks. The more reports they receive, the more likely they are to patch the issue faster.
